Project goal

A project goal is an anticipated state that is consciously selected and desired and is achieved through active action. The project goal must be understood and supported by all project participants. All activities of the project work are aligned exclusively with the project goal. Incorrectly understood, hidden or unspoken project goals can have a lasting effect on project success or prevent it altogether. The project goal does not describe the solution. The project goal does not describe the solution path. Project goals are unambiguous, acceptable, feasible, positive, understandable, free of contradictions, qualified, complete, current, meaningful, prioritized.
